Marina Shafir appeared on WWE SmackDown but not how she wanted

WWE cannot bring fans into any of their shows but have used Performance Center and NXT extras to do the job.

This has led to a better atmosphere on shows and has allowed some of the smaller names to get some time seeing the best in action.

Marina Shafir, who is on WWE NXT, hasn’t been seen much on the promotion in recent months. While she is trained in MMA it seems WWE is still working with her and it will be interesting to see when she features on NXT or even on the main roster.

However, she was on WWE SmackDown this week in the crowd. Shafir was wearing a face mask and enjoyed the entrance Matt Riddle.

While WWE on Fox shared a clipping of Shafir on SmackDown, the wrestler was left far from impressed. She actually didn’t like what she saw and tweeted about the same:

While Shafir had a shot at the no.1 contender’s position for the Women’s tag titles in 2019, she is still awaiting a proper push.

However, Baszler has moved onto Raw and bigger and better things. Shafir, for her part, has posted several videos of her husband, Roderick Strong, and the pair also have a young son.

It will be interesting to see what is next for Shafir. She should be given a few appearances on NXT and she could be the next big thing. Her MMA skills should give her an advantage when taking on others but for now, she might start reworking on her arms after this appearance.
