Mark Henry was adamant that Charlotte Flair is the greatest female wrestler of all-time
Charlotte Flair might be the NXT Champion but the Queen has been seen on all three brands of WWE recently.
Charlotte won the NXT title from Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36. However, she hasn’t remained on the Black and Gold brand but rather has been doing trips on Raw and SmackDown too.
Many have voiced their concerns regarding this but Mark Henry believed Charlotte was the best ever. The WWE Hall of Famer was on the Busted Open podcast and highlighted that she deserves a lot more than the NXT title:
“She is the iron-woman of pro-wrestling. There is no woman on any brand of wrestling that is doing more than Charlotte Flair.
“Charlotte Flair is main eventing on Raw, NXT and SmackDown. When she said on Monday that the title [Raw women’s title] should have been given to her, she had every right to say that.”
Henry claimed that Asuka getting the title was the storyline for now. However, the Hall of Famer believed that Charlotte should try to get all the titles.
The Queen of Queens?
Henry backed Charlotte to even win two of the three titles and claimed this would be the right move:
“Even if she comes up with two of the three titles, it is justifiably so to create that type of monster.
“If you are going to have a person work all of those shows and be main eventing on all of them, you might as well reward her.”
Henry added that Charlotte was working hard to build up her rivals so that she could have someone worthy.
The Hall of Famer also spoke to Charlotte regarding some of those losses before Covid-19 but was certain she could be a Triple H version soon:
“Now it is her turn to be the champions of champions. She needs to be the female version of Triple H.
“When he was the King of Kings, Triple H had all the titles. If he lost one, he regained another, and that’s what Charlotte needs to be, a female version of Triple H.”
Henry concluded that H didn’t get the credit he deserved simply because he didn’t have as many title reigns as others.
However, he added that Triple H was a top-10 wrestler of all-time and the Game worked a lot to build others and was incredible at WrestleMania.
