AEW star Matt Hardy opens up to ROH taking a break till 2022
Ring of Honor announced that they were going to take hiatus for some time. They have decided to break and halt their business operation.
Matt Hardy, who currently performs for AEW and is the manager for Hardy Family Office, has reacted about ROH taking a break. Big Money took to his Twitter and posted a video of his time in ROH.
He mentioned that he loved his time at Ring of Honor and got both hatred and love there.
“Loved my time at Ring Of Honor.
“I was loved there. I was hated there.
“Wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Matt Hardy was a part of ROH for a brief period
Big Money made his debut for Ring of Honor on July 16, 2005, and defeated Christopher Daniels. After having a few matches, he left Ring of Honor for WWE.
Hardy has made two returns to ROH, first in 2011-12 and then in 2016-17 till now, during the second time he was under the contract with TNA. He appeared for the promotions Final Battle PPV show Broken Matt, where he addressed Young Boys with a video message.
Both Matt and Jeff Hardy returned at ROH’s 2017 installment and became the ROH World Tag-team Champions for the first time here. They successfully defended the title before losing the titles to The Young Bucks in a ladder match at Supercard of Honor XI PPV, which was also the final ROH appearance of Matt in this promotion.
ROH has released all the staff and talent as they take a break. They recently took to Twitter to share this news and are expected to return in April 2022.
