Matt Riddle has a new nickname for himself after another win alongside Randy Orton

It seems that Matt Riddle and Randy Orton are going to have a shot at the WWE RAW tag team title considering their current winning streak.

The two teamed up to form ‘R-K-Bro’ a few weeks back, an idea which was forwarded by Orton himself. And since then, they are yet to be beaten.

The two beat Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander in their first match before dismantling Jaxson Ryker and Elias the next week.

And that trend continued this week when the duo teamed up with The New Day to beat Ryer, Elias, and tag team champions AJ Styles and Omos.

This tag team is probably the most likeable one right now RAW and one that could really drive up the tag team division on the red brand.

Tweeting after the match, ‘The Super King of Bros’ had new nicknames for himself and Orton; little viper and big viper- an obvious reference to Orton’s nickname, ‘The Viper’.

His tweet read, “The Big Viper and The Little Viper #rkbro#WWERaw” as he quoted of GIF where he is seen imitating Orton’s famous victory pose.

This storyline has seemingly tapped into an underrated dynamic of tag teams whereby one is the clear babyface while the other’s character stays neutral, flickering to either extremes every now and then.

Orton’s RKO to The New Day after the match showed how he is not a face yet. But he could be in the future.

As for RKBro, this seems like just the start and surely it will culminate in a title shot for the tag team championship at a future PPV.
