Mia Yim has stuck with Keith Lee during the WWE Superstar’s tough times with COVID-19
When Keith Lee contracted the coronavirus in January and was absent for an extended period from the promotion, the blame fell upon his partner Mia Yim.
However, it was his partner Yim who held things together and took care of Lee during his battle with the dreaded disease.
In a recent YouTube video detailing his horrific struggle with coronavirus, Lee credited his wife for being of immense help and was particularly surprised about why the blame fell on Yim, for his long absence from the promotion.
He said:
“Were it not for her, I don’t know how things would have gone, to be quite honest.”
Lee made a return on the 19th of July, 2021 in a losing cause to Bobby Lashley. Following his match, he was diagnosed with an inflamed heart and had to have several MRIs in his heart as a result.
‘Limitless’ clearly pointed out the perils of coronavirus and its after-effects in his video.
Yim then quote tweeted Lee’s tweet (that had his video) with a heartfelt message.
She wrote:
“For he is limitless.”
It is worth noting that Yim and Lee got engaged earlier this year, on the 11th of February.
A truckload of blame fell upon Mia Yim and WWE for Keith Lee’s absence. However, in reality, it was Yim and the WWE who truly cared for the wrestler.
Lee tweeted:
“It isn’t that I couldn’t say anything. I chose not to in order to focus on everything I needed to. Covid and its after effects can be rather…. unpredictable. I was fortunate enough to be cared for.”
