Mojo Rawley sounded positive after his release from WWE
Most of the stars released by WWE recently posted updates on what the future could hold for them. Peyton Royce, Samoa Joe, Billie Kay and Mickie James were the big names that got cut.
Almost all of them spoke about how great the company was but some weren’t all that happy, Tucker, who was part of Heavy Machinery, was cut and he didn’t like it one bit.
The former WWE star slammed Vince McMahon and several others over the treatment of their stars.
Mojo Rawley was a name that many didn’t expect to see get cut. The former 24/7 champion was part of the Hype Bros but was missing from TV for a long time.
He also won the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal too but the former NFL star didn’t really get the push that he deserved over the past few years.
Nevertheless, Rawley did a lot during his time in WWE and he posted a positive message for the company.
He also hinted that he would be ready for another project by May 31.
“9 years of fun, passion, and pure HYPE!!!! Thank you all for getting, and Staying HYPED with me!! I love y’all this much!!!!
“The next chapter officially begins May 31!”
The surprising bit from this update from Rawley was about he expects to be back in some form on 31 May.
That is just over a month away and WWE normally includes a 90-day no compete clause in all stars they release.
This could mean that Rawley had negotiated his release with the company and kept the no-compete clause limited.
Further, this could also be a different kind of project for Rawley and he would not be going to another wrestling promotion.
Nevertheless, Rawley is still a great athlete and it will be interesting to see what is next for him. His NFL experience is also something that could see him work in other sports, and hopefully, he has a great time in his next project.
