Mojo Rawley has a better statistical WWE record than Bill Goldberg
The former NFL star Mojo Rawley joined WWE NXT in August 2012 after he sustained an injury playing for the Arizona Cardinals.
Never in his wildest dreams would he have through to end his 9 year WWE career with a better wrestling record than one pro wrestling’s greatest ever names.
But that is exactly what happened. He shared a statistic on his Twitter account which highlighted his win percentage as compared to that of Bill Goldberg.
And surprisingly, his 68.22% win percentage slightly exceeds Goldberg’s 68.09%. Now that is truly odd. But to Rawley, the fact that it is not ‘69%’ is what makes the stat really ‘bizarre’.
It seems like both of them will not a have a chance to change that stat, at least in the near future.
Are Goldberg and Mojo Rawley still with WWE?
The answer to that is simple regarding Rawley. After 10 months of inactivity, he was released from his WWE contract on April 15th, 2020, along with other superstars.
As for Goldberg, he last fought against Drew McIntyre for the WWE championship at Royal Rumble 2021. Goldberg went on to lose that match.
And with the way the post-fight segment was conducted, many believed that this was the WWE Hall of Famer’s last fight inside the ring.
After ripping apart the WCW roster with ease, Goldberg was brought to the WWE roster as one of the most hyped wrestlers in history at that time.
But the promotion did not, according to some, treat his character as well as they should have and subdued his dominance a lot, which could also explain his WWE record being poorer than that of someone like Rawley.
