WWE Superstar Montez Ford out of action after undergoing voluntary surgery

According to Dave Meltzer, he says: (h/t Wrestling Inc)

“It appears the injuries Ford suffered in the Otis beating on the 6/11 Smackdown were a cover story as he posted photos of him in a hospital appearing like he was getting ready for surgery on 6/24. Ford was brutally attacked by Otis’ who sported a new clean shaven look after turning heel. The official statement from WWE was that he suffered a partial rib fracture and torn intercostal cartilage. This is seen as a cover story, as he went under the knife for a small procedure, unrelated to the injury.
