Roman Reigns debuted his new theme music while he defended his Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, last Friday
The End of ‘The Truth Reigns’. WWE fans will have to get used to ‘The Big Dog’ walking into the ring with a new theme music.
After walking into ‘The Truth Reigns’ for more than 7 years, The Tribal Chief walked into new theme song named the same – The Tribal Chief, as he took on Daniel Bryan in a title vs career match.
The music was met with quite a positive response, although it will take time for the fans to adjust to the new theme.
Reigns went on to retain his WWE Universal Championship, as he looks to continue his ‘reign’ for an extended period of time.
More recently, further details have emerged about the sudden theme song change. It has been learned that the theme song had been in the making, at least 6 months ago.
And, the plan to change the theme music had begun once Reigns made his WWE return at SummerSlam in August 2020.
Roman Reigns’ incredible SmackDown record
The Tribal Chief has an amazing SmackDown record for the past 18 months. Reigns has never been pinned or tapped out for almost a year and a half.
It’s quite astounding given the ring time he gets, being the face of the company.
The last time the Big Dog lost in a SmackDown event was way back, on the 8th of November 2019, against King Corbin.
Reigns was finished by ‘An End of Days’ from Corbin, following a series of interferences.
