WWE might be looking at a lot more releases for the year 2021

The WWE have been rampant with their releases, especially during the pandemic season.

2021 has seen a plethora of talents leave the promotion as a part of the WWE’s budget cuts.

Starting off with the Big Show, WWE released several other veterans like Daniel Bryan, Mickie James, Ric Flair.

Braun Strowman and Aleister Black were released by the WWE in June, 2021

Some of the biggest names released by the promotion which came as a shock to many were Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt, who were once a part of the Wyatt family.

While Strowman was released on the first week of June, Bray Wyatt was released a couple of weeks ago.

More recently, on the 6th of August, the promotion decided to go ahead with another bout of releases. A total of 12 names, predominantly from the NXT were released by the WWE.

The most notable one among them was Bronson Reed.

A cloud of uncertainty looms as more releases are to come

The latest development is that there would be more releases to come in the year 2021. As if the releases so far weren’t enough, it has been learned that the string of releases just would not stop.

The same was confirmed by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast on Twitter. He quote tweeted Sean Ross’s tweet of the latest NXT releases, with the caption:

“And more to come.”

Time for fingers to be crossed for the superstars in doubt.
