“Justice for Johnny Depp” – Paige and other WWE Superstars react to the conclusion of the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard trial

The legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finally came to a conclusion. The jury found that Depp was defamed by Heard when she said she was a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”

Many WWE Superstars have supported Depp during the trial and after “The Pirates of the Caribbean” film star won, they reacted on Twitter and we have compiled some of the reactions in this article.

SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee mentioned the topic during “The Pat McAfee Show” where he congratulated Depp on clearing his name and also congratulated him for going on with the case.

“Congrats to him by the way for getting his name clear. Congrats to him for going through with this because lot of guys and girls, I guess it does happen in that particular fashion as well where women beat up their spouse. I think we saw, I am not gonna out anybody but there’s a former soccer player where it happened. God, it took place. It always gets kind of buried away and then just kind of lingers around you know forever for these people. I think a lot of people have obviously done it on terrible people. But on the flip side, I think some people are saying, ‘this is quite a misunderstanding that I don’t wanna go public with and deal with all the potential backlash that can come from this.’ That thing being publicly shown was Johnny Depp’s best-case right I think in this entire thing?

“The public opinion after watching that swayed in a fashion I don’t think any of us could have expected because of the previous events that have taken place with this serious of an accusation.”

Kayla Braxton is overjoyed after Johnny Depp’s win

WWE’s backstage interviewer and the host of WWE’s The Bump Kayla Braxton posted a video of her on Twitter, running in joy after the six-week-long trial came to an end.

Braxton also wrote a caption along with the video:

“After a unanimous decision in favor of Johnny, im running to grab my mega pint of wine! Glad my self appointed jury duty has come to an end. Go Johnny!#JohnnyDeppAmberHeardTrial #JohnnyDepp #JohnnyDeppvAmberHeard

In another tweet, Braxton wrote that anyone who lies about abuse of any kind deserves to be humiliated and punished.

“I’m not saying Johnny Depp isn’t a nut job. Who isn’t? But as someone who went through abuse as a child and was told I was a liar – anyone who lies about any kind of abuse deserves to be humiliated and punished.”

Former WWE Superstar Paige reacted to the verdict

The former Divas Champion Paige tweeted her reaction after Depp won more than $10 million in damages, achieving a near-total victory.

Paige

Paige tweeted: “JUSTICE FOR JOHNNY DEPP!!! What a powerful moment”

This is not the first time Paige expressed her opinion on the tense trial involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. A few days ago she posted the following on Twitter:

““Rumor has it. If you say Amber Heards name 3 times in a mirror she will appear and *emoji* in your bed….#TeamJohnny”

She was referencing a bizarre incident that was revealed during the trial. Johnny Depp disclosed that he was shown a photograph of “human faecal matter” on the bed after he was involved in a heated altercation with his then-wife Amber Heard during her 30th birthday party.

Paige received quite a few trolls and hate comments for the tweet but she took it in her stride and moved on. The win for Depp must have delighted the 29-year-old from Norwich, England.
