Mustafa Ali is a talented wrestler but has not received any push of notice in WWE. He even wanted a release after getting frustrated with how he was being booked but WWE was not willing to let him go.
Ali was kept off WWE television for a long time before returning a couple of months ago to confront The Miz and Theory. The 36-year-old wanted a match for the United States Championship which is currently held by Theory.
Vince McMahon’s protege, however, denied giving Ali a match. That changed when Ali got his title shot at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. He, however, fell short as Theory won the match cleanly.
Ali posted a cryptic tweet after the match and fans are speculating that he might be frustrated once again with the WWE creative team.
“i don’t even know man” was the tweet from Ali.
The former Retribution leader was not on this week’s episode of RAW and this might be a worrying sign for his fans. The WWE Universe has always supported Ali and they replied the same to his tweet.
