Mustafa Ali lost to homeboy Mansoor at Crown Jewel
Saudi Arabia’s own Mansoor and Mustafa Ali faced of in the second match of the Crown Jewel 2021 last night. As expected, Mansoor got away with his fourth straight victory in the events held at his country. After the match Ali took to Twitter to share a positive message and said:
“Two Muslims competed in a singles match on a WWE PPV for the first time ever. the intention was simple; inspire the next generation.”
As stated by Ali, this match was the first ever match between two Muslims in a WWE PPV. The US born wrestler made it clear that win or loss, the intention was to inspire the next generation and they were indeed pretty successful at that.
In their match, Mansoor arrived with a huge cheer from his country’s fans. He was on the offense in the early stages of the match as well. However, the momentum shifted and Ali started to establish himself in the match but to no avail. At the end, Mansoor got away with a victory and has extended his run of being undefeated in the events held in Saudi Arabia.
Mustafa Ali to donate his earnings from the Crown Jewel PPV
Just a couple days before his match at Crown Jewel, Ali announced that he will be donating all his earnings from the event to charity. He received a lot of positive responses from the fans for his kind gesture.
Moreover, this was not the first time that Ali has donated his earnings from a PPV to charity. Back in 2019, he did the same when he was a part of the WWE Super ShowDown event.
