WrestleMania 37 kicked off with Bobby Lashley getting the better of Drew McIntyre and keeping the WWE title

WrestleMania 37 might have kicked off a little later than expected due to the storm outside Raymond James Stadium.

However, that didn’t stop the fans from flocking to the arena and ensuring the moment wasn’t lost. This was the first time fans were back live for a WWE show and they were treated to some incredible battles.

The first one of the night saw Drew McIntyre taking on Bobby Lashley. This was for the WWE title with McIntyre looking to gain his gold back.

Lashley cost McIntyre the gold but the All Mighty won it from The Miz. This was a brutal affair but it was MVP who turned out to be the game changer.

McIntyre was steadying himself for the Claymore but MVP caused a distraction. This allowed Lashley to latch in the Hurt Lock. McIntyre did not tap out but he passed out and that was enough to keep Lashley as the champion.

MVP reacted to this win and claimed that he was confident of this taking place in the past too.

MVP also celebrated with Lashley and this has been quite a ride for the pair.

The All Mighty era is truly here

Even with the help of MVP, this was quite a performance from Lashley. He did not tap when McIntyre had him in a Kimura lock and the All Mighty too was pleased at his performance.

Beating McIntyre counts for a lot and the All Mighty also shared his thoughts after this huge win.

It will be interesting to see just who steps up next to face Lashley. There were questions about his title since he won it from The Miz and was running away from McIntyre for a while.

However, this win puts all the questions and doubts away. Lashley could remain champion for a while and there might not be many willing to step up and take the fight.
