MVP takes a jab at WWE fans for criticizing the Zombies lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash despite liking The Undertaker over the years
The Undertaker terrorized WWE/WWF superstars and fans alike over the course of multiple decades as ‘The Deadman’.
He was shown to be dead multiple times on the show but then came back to life- something that would technically qualify as a zombie… or will it?
‘The Hurt Business’ member MVP certainly thinks so. He defended WWE for conducting the Zombies lumberjack match at WrestleMania Backlash- something which was largely disliked by fans.
‘The Franchise Playa’ criticized fans’ double standards for not liking the Zombies in the lumberjack match between The Miz and Damian Priest, but liking The Undertaker over the years.
Needless to say, fans had a lot to say to MVP after that tweet, and Bobby Lashley’s right-hand man was not backing down from a verbal to-and-fro.
MVP replies to WWE fans as he defends Zombies at lumberjack match by citing The Undertaker
The Undertaker did do a lot of supernatural stuff. Mark Callaway, The Undertaker’s real name, is an incredibly talented actor.
He could possess others, bury superstars, shoot thunder, float mid-air, and do just about anything- and would make none of it look goofy or childish.
A fair bunch of fans agreed with MVP, but most of them were in disagreement that the comparison between a WWE legend and few NXT stars with make-up was comparable.
And they wouldn’t be wrong. That was an era where gimmicks sold, and WWE had the perfect actor to sell The Undertaker. This, however, was a shabby movie promotion which did not really contribute to any storyline.
Below are some of the best reactions from MVP where he replied to pro wrestling fans taking a shot at him for his original tweet, or even agreeing with him on the matter.
