Naomi is currently suspended from WWE after she and her good friend Sasha Banks walked out of an episode of RAW last month.
The former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion praised John Cena for completing 20 years in WWE. Cena appeared on this week’s episode of RAW and celebrated the anniversary with the WWE Universe. This was Cena’s first WWE appearance since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam last year. Cena said that he will return to the ring but did not give an exact date regarding when that could happen.
Legends like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and many more had sent video messages congratulating the Leader of Cenation. The videos were aired on RAW this week.
Naomi tweeted her congratulatory message and thanked the 16-time world champion for all the encouragement and feedback that he gave to the 34-year-old.
“Nhoj you’re the best thank you for all the encouragement and feedback you’ve given me through my years and for the best tours ever I’m only mad I missed you this time lol ( there’s always this amazing energy shift whenever you’re in the building)”
What is the current status of Sasha Banks and Naomi in WWE?
There were rumors that surfaced a few days ago stating that Sasha Banks had been released by WWE. However, as per a new report, Banks and Naomi are still in WWE.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Banks and Naomi are listed on the company’s internal roster. There have been no changes made to their status since they walked out of the May 16 episode of RAW.
As of now, the Stamford-based company has not yet mentioned anything regarding the status of the former Women’s Tag Team Champions.
