Carla Esparza carried a nasty injury despite picking up the win over Marina Rodriguez in the UFC

Naomi continued her war of words with Lacey Evans and brought up the recent UFC fight between Carla Esparza and Marina Rodriguez from Fight Island.

This was the final card from Abu Dhabi for a while as Esparza and Rodriguez clashed. While it was Esparza who got the win over her rival, the American carried a nasty eye injury.

The eyebrow area was swollen a lot and some started comparing Esparza to various characters from TV and the movies.

Naomi got one such comparison in but she claimed that Sloth from the Goonies actually looked like Evans.

The pair have been going hammer and tongs at each other over the past few weeks and did so on the last SmackDown too.

The issue with the screensaver

Naomi and Evans started clashing after Naomi won a Karaoke contest a couple of weeks back on SmackDown.

That enraged Evans and she attacked the former SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, many fans in WWE didn’t enjoy this storyline and called for Naomi to get something better on WWE.

Naomi spoke during a Dirt Sheet segment (WWE)

It seemed that WWE had listened to their fans as Naomi was to address this movement on the Dirt Sheet this week.

However, that turned out to be another ploy as Evans came out and mocked Naomi. While she did push the former champion, it was Naomi who had the last laugh as Evans’ makeup was ruined and she didn’t like this one bit.

Naomi claimed that the messed up face of Evans would be a screensaver. However, it seems likely that the pair will continue to fight for a few weeks, which certainly isn’t what the WWE Universe wanted for Naomi.
