Naomi had a tag team match on night one of WrestleMania 37 but her highlight of the event came later on
Lana and Naomi have formed quite the likeable tag team on WWE in recent weeks, but the two are yet to taste glory together.
And that continued at WrestleMania 37. The two were the first entrants in a tag team turmoil on night one of this year’s ‘Mania.
The winner of the match would have gone on to fight the current women’s tag team champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax the next day.
But it was not to be for Naomi and Lana as they were quickly eliminated by Billie Kay and Carmella. Nevertheless, Naomi’s most emotional moment during the PPV (according to her) was to follow.
And for her, that was the ground-break match between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks for the WWE SmackDown women’s title.

That was the first time two African-American women were headlining a WrestleMania event. Belair would go on to win a historic fight against ‘The Boss’.
But Naomi revealed that she had tears in her eyes even before ‘The EST’ and Banks even started fighting.
She commented this on Belair’s latest Instagram post, where the newly-crowned champion posted a highlight of her historic night.
It seems that Belair is getting an almighty push on the promotion since she was drafted to SmackDown in the October 2020 draft.
As for Naomi, who is herself a former SmackDown women’s champion, it seems that she would have to wait a while before she can taste success with her new partner, Lana.
