Brodie Lee passed away in 2020 and many wrestlers, like Natalya, are still paying tribute to him

Brodie Lee (FKA Luke Harper) was one of the more tragic and heartbreaking stories from the wrestling world in 2020.

Lee/Harper, who is a former Intercontinental Champion in WWE, joined AEW in 2020 and became a TNT Champion.

However, he was taken off TV a few months after winning the title and then losing it. He passed away late in 2020 and that was due to non-covid related issues but it was a lung problem.

The wrestling world was left shocked and AEW held a special tribute show for Lee. His wife and elder son were present at the show and Brodie Lee Jr was also given a contract by AEW.

Lee Jr has featured on a few shows too but many stars have also done their bit for him. Some have promoted merchandise which supports Lee’s family while others have kept his legacy alive by sharing some fun stories.

Lee was a popular character in the wrestling world and many WWE stars still do their bit to keep him in their memories.

Natalya also pays tribute to Brodie Lee on SmackDown

Former WWE Women’s Champion Natalya was in action against Bianca Belair on SmackDown. While Nattie ended up losing this battle, she did have a chance to pay tribute to Lee.

Lee was known for his discus clothesline and well, Natalya performed that move. One fan retweeted this out and Natalya even commented that it was for Jon (Jon Huber was the real name of Brodie Lee).

While this was a loss for Nattie, the BOAT has been keen on winning the WWE Women’s Tag team titles.

She has teamed up with Tamina Snuka and the pair are involved in a feud with the champions.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are holding the gold now, and it will be interesting to see if they defend their titles at WrestleMania 37.
