New 24/7 Champion Shelton Benjamin take shot at former champs over poor “representation”

Shelton Benjamin joined The Hurt Business and became the 24/7 Champion too

Shelton Benjamin is having a career revival on WWE and recently won the 24/7 title on Raw.

Benjamin is a former Intercontinental and Tag Champion but had left the promotion to try his luck in the indies. He returned to WWE in 2017 and has teamed up with Chad Gable and other stars.

However, Benjamin hasn’t been a regular on TV but that should change now. He first defeated R-Truth to become the new 24/7 Champion and then sided with Bobby Lashley and MVP as part of the Hurt Business.

While the trio didn’t actually do well in their six-man tag match, the Hurt Business could dominate Raw as the top heel faction.

Benjamin, for his part, posted a warning to all those trying to get a piece of his new faction. He also claimed that the 24/7 title wasn’t represented well by R-Truth and others in the past.

The Hurt Business set up for big things?

Lashley and MVP as a pair are great but they still needed another wrestler to join them. They failed to land Apollo Crews, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander, but Benjamin is a great addition to the team.

MVP, Lashley and Benjamin have a ton of experience and have seen it all in the wrestling business.

Lashley can be the muscle in the group while MVP can plot things and can rock it on the microphone too. Benjamin is the most technical wrestler in their side having been great in his college years.

The Hurt Business does seem to be working well, and it will be interesting to see what is next for them.

Benjamin claims he will be a fighting champion and not run away from defending the title, and he could be targeted by Truth next week on Raw.
