WWE has announced that their upcoming latest animated movie, Rumble, that will be featured exclusively on Paramount+ and will be starring WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The movie will be finally released on December 15th after being delayed several times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The film storyline as per the WWE website will be:
“In a world where monster wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes, “Rumble’s” teenage Winnie seeks to follow in her father’s footsteps by coaching a loveable underdog monster into a champion.”
The Man took to twitter to promote the film as well. She captioned the trailer with: “The Man knows a thing or two about rumbling… Don’t miss the new animated film RUMBLE, streaming Dec 15, Exclusively on @ParamountPlus #RumbleMovie”
Talking about the movie – Tanya Giles, Chief Programming Officer, ViacomCBS Streaming said:
“We are thrilled to build on our recent success with family-friendly films and bring ‘Rumble’s’ entertaining and inspiring underdog story to Paramount+ this holiday season.”
There have been many wrestlers who have switched their careers from WWE to Hollywood. The likes of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista have all tried their hand on the big screens and Roman Reigns and Lynch have also been part of several projects.
Reigns played the role of Mateo Hobbs. His character was the brother of The Rock in ‘Hobbs and Shaw.’ He has also appeared in ‘The Wrong Missy.’
Meanwhile, Lynch played Maddy Hayes in The Marine 6: Close Quarters. Now both of them will be seen together in Rumble. WWE fans will surely be excited about this upcoming animated movie.
