TJ Wilson was the man behind all women’s matches at WrestleMania 37
Despite being a great professional wrestler himself, Hart Dynasty member TJ Wilson, AKA Tyson Kidd, is doing some of his best work as a producer for WWE.
Wilson takes care of a lot of what goes inside the women’s division and is already loved and respected by his colleagues in that division.
And he was entrusted with the responsibility of producing every single women’s match at WrestleMania, as revealed by his wife, Natalya.
This included the tag team turmoil match that went for two nights, the bout for the RAW Women’s Championship that Rhea Ripley, and the historic clash between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks for the SmackDown women’s championship.
It’s safe to say he did an excellent job because the focus, across both nights, remained on the quality of the fights, which showcased the true potential of the women’s division.
Recently, especially on RAW, the focus seems to have shifted from promoting women’s division for its wrestling capabilities to selling it for its comedic and entertainment value.
And that, of course, will not sit right with WWE fans at large. This is why TJ’s work at WrestleMania deserves utmost credit and should be the benchmark going forward.
It may not have been perfect, but it surely had the foundations of what WWE should build the future of its women’s division upon.
Female personalities in the promotion gathered on social media to congratulate Wilson and praise him for his work. This included names like Dana Brooke, Peyton Royce, and Nia Jax.
