England Women’s team created history by winning the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. The final also witness a crowd of 87192 as Sarina Weigman’s team won England their first major trophy since the men won the 1966 World Cup on the same turf.

England Women Beat Germany to end major UEFA Euro wait
England defeated Germany 2-1 on Sunday to lift the Women’s Euro title at Wembley which has given the England supporters a chance to sing “it’s coming home”The normal 90 minutes ended on level terms (1-1), but England managed to find the winner in extra time, and the side ended up winning the contest 2-1.
In front of a record 87,192 which is the biggest crowd for any match in the history of the European Championships, English Women created history. They started pretty well in the match when substitute Ella Toone’s sublime chip over Merle Frohms put the hots in the front.
However, Germany bounced back and show resilience as Lina Maghull levelled the score soon. But in the 110th minute when Germany failed to clear the corner Kelly who was fighting back from an anterior cruciate ligament tear took the chance and scored the winning goal.
