Why can’t Nikki Bella return to WWE?
The Bella twins are arguably the greatest WWE Divas to have ever graced the company. Niki Bella retired from the WWE back in March 2019 and although there have been speculations about her returning to the company the odds are pretty low.
Bella appeared on Sippin’ The Tea and was asked if she wants to see her son Matteo witness her wrestling again. Bella responded:
“That would be amazing to me. But because he is my everything, I have to listen to the doctors and as of now, they’ve put me on the retired bench for life. So, it would take a lot of scans, x-rays, and all this different stuff for them to actually approve me to have a run. So that would be unlikely – that will be years down the road.”
It was her frequent neck injuries that forced her to retire from professional wrestling. The neck had to be surgically fixed and as revealed by the diva herself the doctors have ruled out the possibility of her returning.
Will Brie Bella ever return to the WWE?
Brie Bella was on the same show and explained why it is unlikely to see them in the ring again. Brie stated:
“We’re gonna always have a love for professional wrestling. I feel like I’m in such a different place in my life and a place I really love. We’re gonna be 38 in November and I’m like, you know too, for us to be winemakers and well, I can’t imagine taking a bump right now.”
Brie made it clear that she doesn’t want to be involved with wrestling as she feels she won’t be able to take the hits. Earlier, there were also speculations of Brie joining her husband Daniel Bryan in the AEW. However, we surely won’t see the Bellas in the ring anytime soon.
