Nikki Cross will face Bayley at Clash of Champions for the SmackDown Women’s title

Nikki Cross will have another crack at Bayley as she fights for the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion.

Cross will have the chance to win the title from The Role Model at Clash of Champions, and this is a chance for her to get some things right.

Lacey Evans interrupted a Moment of Bliss (WWE)

The former NXT star couldn’t win the belt from Bayley a couple of months back, and she pushed her best friend Alexa Bliss away.

However, Cross won a recent Fatal 4-way to become the No.1 contender again. This was done despite Bayley attacking her with a chair before the match.

Cross has been overlooked several times since she moved to SmackDown. She is a former tag team champion with Bliss and warned Bayley that she was coming for the title:

It will be interesting to see how this match goes. Bayley has been great since winning the SmackDown title but her friendship with Sasha Banks has imploded.

She attacked Banks a couple of weeks back and did so again on this week’s show. Banks was in a neck brace and she seemed to be in pain after the attack.

Nikki Cross hit out at Alexa Bliss on SmackDown (WWE)

The Boss could mess things up for Bayley at the PPV. However, Cross might also have a friend to help her out.

Bliss played a role in Cross’ tough win over Lacey Evans on SmackDown. She hit Evans with the Sister Abigail after The Fiend was called out. Bliss has been in a catatonic state since but there could be some madness on how at the PPV.

Cross might not be seen as a singles champion yet, but she has proven to be a tough cookie. Now, it is up to her to prove her title credentials with possibly the biggest match of her WWE career next.
