WWE Raw Superstar Nikki Cross introduces new superhero persona
Nikki Cross debuted a new superhero look as she teamed up with Alexa Bliss on Monday Night Raw.
Cross was surprisingly seen donning a blue superhero attire during her win over Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. She is going to be one of the eight members in the women’s ladder match next month.
This isn’t the first time WWE have brought out a superhero character. Shane Helms was The hurricane for a long time and Cross’ character did give off some of those vibes.
It was also great for WWE not to show Cross with some weird powers, thanks to the world of editing.
Cross and Bliss reunited after a long duration to pick up the win to see them challenge for the Money in the Bank conract. They will be competing with Asuka and Naomi who were successful in their qualifying match.
Nikki Cross feels ‘invincible’ in new look
Though Cross was in the Championship feud with Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair, she did not get an opportunity to compete for the title. It now seems that this look is helping her to conquer every challenge in WWE, starting with the Money in the Bank match.
While the former Sanity member did confirm she didn’t have any superpowers, she posted a positive message about pushing all the time, even if she fell down.
Cross will now look to use this new look to bring her continued success on RAW. She is one of the most talented wrestlers, evidently from her days at WWE NXT. It will be an interesting year ahead for Cross as she looks to make the most of the return of crowds from July.
