Keith Lee posted an inspirational tweet after getting the better of Damien Priest on NXT
The big main event of this week’s NXT featured an angry Keith Lee looking to get payback on Damian Priest after a brutal attack last week with a nightstick, and the match did not disappoint.
It was as brutal and hard-hitting as you would expect, with Lee using his impressive power and size to throw around Priest like a ragdoll.
You can make it harder to breathe….

You can make it harder to speak….

Priest is cunning though and utilized that to use Lee’s momentum against him several times throughout the match, making this a match that went down to the wire. Ultimately one person was left standing though, and that was Lee.
Lee makes his presence known
Fans of NXT have known since he joined the company just how talented Keith Lee is. However, it wasn’t until Survivor Series last year where everyone saw just how much potential the North American Champion has.
Lee was the last man standing for NXT in the fifteen-man three-way elimination tag match, going head-to-head with former Universal and WWE Champion Roman Reigns.
Lee then faced Cameron Grimes in early March and emerged victorious. He retained his title in a hard-fought victory over Cameron Grimes, who needed to adapt his typical strategy towards the uniquely highly effective Lee.
The Technical Savage wowed simply as a lot because the champion, even at one level connecting with a large German suplex on the 320-pounder.
However his try on the Cave-In was snuffed out by Lee moments later. And from there, Lee planted Grimes with the Big Bang Catastrophe for the win.
But, when everything was going according to plan, Lee suffered a bruised larynx. Damian Priest hit him twice in the throat with a nightstick during last week’s main event. Fortunately, it was a minor injury and the champion returned to defeat Priest.
