Daniel Bryan seems to be set for a 2021 Royal Rumble win but an NXT star also wants to be one of the entrants
Daniel Bryan was in fine form on the Holiday special of SmackDown as he faced Jey Uso. The former WWE champion was attacked by Uso before the battle but overcame an injury to defeat his rival.
This was a huge win for Bryan and he spoke about featuring in the 2021 Royal Rumble as one of the entrants.
The Royal Rumble is one of the biggest events of the year and leads to the big one, WrestleMania.
Most of the Royal Rumble winners have gone on to claim the top title and that was on show last year too.
Drew McIntyre proved his credentials by winning the Rumble and then won the title by defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
While Bryan is keen on winning it for the first time, he faces a challenge from several men. NXT star, Bronson Reed, also wanted to be a part of the Rumble and threw his name into the hat but added that he wasn’t officially in it, yet.
The Aussie is back
Reed had been one of the rising stars on NXT before he missed a few months. He is back on television and picked up an easy win in his return.
It will be interesting to see what is next for the big Aussie. He can be a force in the promotion and even push for the title.
NXT stars should be part of the Rumble and that could see Reed get a chance. However, there are many big names waiting to get into the Rumble and WWE normally has a couple of surprise entrants with former stars getting a shot.
Edge made a huge comeback in the last Rumble and it will be interesting to see what WWE have in store for us next year.
