Xia Li seems keen to be the latest star to join WWE Raw Underground
NXT star Xia Li is keen on appearing on Raw Underground after Shane McMahon debuted the segment this week.
Raw Underground is a new concept by WWE as it features a dimly lit basement of sorts with more edgy fights and wrestling.
Many stars such as Erik, Ivar, MVP and Dolph Ziggler were seen on its debut, and it will be interesting to see how things develop.
Raw Underground does give a feel of an illegal MMA setup and Li is interested in taking part in the same.
The Chinese star has been kept on NXT for a while and was recently involved in a clash against Aliyah.
However, she has taken up a new appearance in recent weeks and claims this spicy segment would be ideal for her:

MMA trained and ready to go
While Li hasn’t had much success on NXT and has lost her recent matches, the Chinese star could be a hit on the edgier Raw Underground.
Li is a combat-sports athlete and trained in Wushu before taking up her wrestling career. She could use those skills to perfect use at Raw Underground, and WWE could allow some of their NXT stars to feature there.
McMahon brought out Babatunde or Dabbo-Kato for this segment and that is a route they could follow with Li.
There was also controversy during Raw with some hooded figures setting fire to a generator. They have been called as Retribution and also affected the sound and lighting on this week’s Raw.
No one knows who are the members of this faction, but there seems to be one female star included.
