Otis doesn’t mind a custom WWE MITB briefcase
WWE superstar Otis tweeted a reply with regard to a possible design for his Money in the Bank briefcase.
The new design seemed to be that of a cooler which is different from the briefcase he has now.
The Heavy Machinery member won the match surprisingly, despite it seeming that AJ Styles would take the briefcase.
Otis outlasted five others to win the men’s ladder match at the Money in the Bank PPV.
In the closing stages of the match, Styles and Baron Corbin were fighting over the briefcase when Elias arrived and slammed his guitar against The Lone Wolf’s back. Styles had possession of the case, only to fumble it and watch it fall into the arms of Otis.
Otis was victorious in the most unique MITB ladder match of all time, as it was held at WWE headquarters. He and the other competitors started on the ground floor and made their way all the way up to the roof.
By virtue of his victory, Otis now has the right to cash in his Money in the Bank contract for a world title match at any time.
Styles, Corbin, Daniel Bryan, Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio were also part of the match, but none of them were able to beat Otis to the top of the ladder.
In a recent interview, Otis spoke about his storyline with Mandy Rose.
“We decided to just kind of present this to the writers and the people behind the scenes.
“They were like, ‘Well, what’s the main focus here?’ The main focus is the lonely loner in high school or some nerd kid trying to get the most beautiful girl in the classroom. That was basically my thought of it.
“We had no idea Dolph was going to be involved at all; it just happened naturally and that was awesome. The more ideas that were flowing through and the more that was going on, the more fun we were having.”
It will be interesting to see what is next for Otis. He has the case, however, it would be a surprise if he does cash it in successfully.
