Paige shares update of neck injury with possible WWE return in near future

Former Divas’ Champion Paige has share an update of her physical rehabilitation from her neck injury on social media.

The Brit took to Twitter to update her fans about her road to recovery from a bad neck injury, saying:

“You guys I’m getting stronger squatting 185lbs again. I know it’s not a ton but it’s a big accomplishment for me who was worried to do any gym stuff because of my neck. But my neck is feeling so awesome. I’m so proud of myself.”

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition back in 2017, after a match where she was joined by Absolution (Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville) to take on Bayley, Mickie James & Sasha Banks.

The match was ruled a no contest, but there was major damage to her neck region after a move which saw her land badly. She announced her retirement from pro wrestling on the April 9th episode of WWE RAW in 2018.

She was given the encouragement of WWE stars past and present about her neck recovery on Twitter. We hope to see Paige return to the ring and continue her career which ended very shortly.

Should Paige seek inspiration from Edge and Daniel Bryan?

Edge and Daniel Bryan were both forced to retire from wrestling due to bad injuries in their bodies. Edge suffered from multiple neck injuries, while Daniel Bryan had surgery on his neck to fix a nerve issue that caused him to lose feeling in his right arm.

Both Superstars made a superb return after medical clearance and are now back in the ring. The Rated-R Superstar faces Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, while Daniel bryan is rumored to join AEW. Paige will be inspired with their journies after a positive update and make her return soon.
