Paul Heyman wants Big E to go the Roman Reigns way in WWE
The special counsel of Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman recently spoke to the Eat Sleep Podcast Repeat (h/t Wrestling Inc.), where he talked about The Tribal Chief’s Survivor Series opponent Big E.
Heyman wants Big E to follow Reigns and basically wants him to break from The New Day like Reigns did with The Shield. He even said that Reigns became a megastar that The Shield can never contain. He wants Big E to take the same approach.
“I was very complimentary towards Big E, and I still am. Big E needs to break away from The New Day, the same way Roman Reigns broke away from The Shield,” Heyman claimed. “Roman Reigns became such a megastar that The Shield could not contain Roman Reigns’ stardom any further and Big E needs to take that same approach regarding King Woods, and Kofi Kingston, and The New Day.”
Paul Heyman believes that he and Reigns were destined to be together
Heyman also said that he and Reigns were destined to be together, and he has known Reigns since he was in diapers and was brought by his father to an event.
“I think we were always destined to be paired together,” Heyman admitted. “I have known Roman Reigns since he was in diapers, when his father, Sika of the Wild Samoans, brought him to an event in Panama City, Florida as part of the Continental Wrestling Federation in 1988.
Paul Heyman also brought the Shield to protect the WWE Title reign of the-then champion CM Punk in which Reigns was the dominant member.
