Roman Reigns Special counsel Paul Heyman speaks about Big E and Brock Lesnar
Paul Heyman is really impressed with WWE Champion Big E after Survivor Series Match against Roman Reigns. Heyman recently spoke to SI.com about the match and had high praise for Big E.
Heyman said that Big E is part of the history of the WWE Championship and compared him with the likes of The Rock, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena and Brock Lesnar. He also mentioned how Big E has achieved so much, just like Roman Reigns, who on his own became the No.1 superstar of the brand. Heyman lastly said that he is beyond impressed with the accomplishments of Big E.
“Big E is a credit to the lineage and the history of the WWE championship, from Buddy Rogers to Bruno Sammartino to Pedro Morales to The Rock to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena and Brock Lesnar.
“Big E has achieved what so few realized he could. Much like Roman Reigns breaking away from The Shield and standing on his own to become the No. 1 superstar on the brand of SmackDown, Big E has broken away from The New Day and achieved superstar status as the focal point of Monday Night Raw. Paul Heyman says that Survivor Series was “not a loss” for Big E
Heyman was asked about the match and his perception of the game between The Tribal Chief and Big E.
He mentioned that it was a victory for both the men even though Reigns had his hand raised at the end and noted that this was not a loss for Big E and said that it is really amazing how he did all on his won without The New Day.
“I didn’t see that as a loss for Big E,” Heyman says. “I saw it as a magnificent victory. Away from The New Day, all on his own, without anyone else in his corner, Big E stood tall and brought the fight to Roman Reigns.”
Reigns defeated Big E at the Survivor Series 2021 after an intense battle between the two, and it was a neck-neck battle between the champions of WWE.
