Paul Heyman has a metaphor for just how Edge would see his miracle return come to an end at WrestleMania 37
Last week, WWE Royal Rumble 2021 winner Edge hit Roman Reigns with a Spear and pointed to the WrestleMania logo inside the arena.
This only meant one thing. After much pondering, he had picked ‘The Tribal Chief’ to be his opponent at the grandest stage of wrestling.
‘The Rated R Superstar’ has had a dream return to WWE. He actually first returned to the promotion after 9 years out when he came out at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
Then he was out again for a brief spell, and made a 2nd return when he came out at Royal Rumble this January. This time around, he went on to win the whole thing after coming in as the first entrant.
The dream return for Edge looks destined to end with the Hall of Famer win the WWE Universal title in March.
But for that, he would have to go through ‘The Big Dog’, which is not an easy task at all. And to remind us of that, we have his manager, Paul Heyman.
Heyman is one of the best orators and TV personalities ever to be on the show. He has a way with words that can encapsulate the minds of the fans and seize their attention.
And he painted a picture by just his words as he shared a video of a sunset. He wrote that this was a perfect metaphor for how Edge’s sun of his miracle return will soon set.
It remains to be seen what actually goes down in their match and if Edge can have a belt after returning to the promotion. There are a lot of possibilities for what can happen.
And with Reigns and Edge both reportedly having creative control on the show, it will be interesting to see what comes out of it.
