Roman Reigns was livid on WWE SmackDown

Last week’s WWE SmackDown saw Roman Reigns go berserk on the mic inside the ring. ‘The Big Dog’ was told that Edge was in the stadium and would be coming out to the ring.

The pyros went off, but ‘The Rated R Superstar’ did not come out. This had him screaming, and it even scared Paul Heyman.

Heyman posted the video of the incident on his Instagram account and spoke about the fear factor that ‘The Tribal Chief’ has brought to SmackDown.

“If the social media managers at @WWE had any intellect, they would realize the Reigns-ing Defending Undisputed #UniversalHeavyweightChampion @RomanReigns is a terrifying man. It’s a lesson the entire #WWE locker room has learned or will learn with first hand knowledge. Bow down, bitches. #TheTribalChief is ushering in a brand new era in sports entertainment!”

The professional wrestling manager put out a warning to the entire WWE locker room. He stated that Reigns is ushering in a new era of sports entertainment, and it something to be feared.

Now we can’t say that Heyman was acting with his reaction, or if he was actually startled. But that is just because of how good he is at his job inside the ring.

Whether it’s someone like Brock Lesnar, where Heyman had to do the talking, or Reigns, where the manager has to play second fiddle, he is excelling with ease and making his client look 10 times better.

Who could Roman Reigns fight next?

Reigns is the current WWE Universal champion. He is touted as the WrestleMania 37 opponent for Edge, who won the Royal Rumble 2021.

However, his feud with Kevin Owens is still ongoing. That was visible when KO intervened a conversation between Edge and Reigns that took place last week.

It is said that the Owens vs Reigns feud is still pushed because there is currently no talent on the Blue brand that could be pitted against Reigns.

This is a bit harmful to Reigns, whose star power is not being adequately matched. A potential feud with Big-E has been speculated, but that would probably only begin when the latter is done with his Intercontinental champion arc.
