Paul Heyman opened up on a possibility of the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar coming back to face Roman Reigns
Not one would forget Paul Heyman walking down to the ring alongside Brock Lesnar. Heyman had been Lesnar’s manager since the days of the dinosaurs.
Heyman has also managed some notable wrestlers like Steve Austin, Rick Rude and even CM Punk.
And now, he can be seen walking down the gangway besides the ‘Big Dog’ Roman Reigns himself. Heyman has been the ‘Special Counsel to the Tribal Chief’ since August 2020.
Unlike a friendly relationship with Lesnar, Heyman and Reigns share a ‘strictly business’ type of relationship, with Reigns hardly seen smiling at Mr Advocate.
Heyman recently spoke to DAZN about his former client Lesnar returning to the WWE and taking on Reigns. It was actually the interviewer who had put the question first, asking about what he would do if Lesnar decided to come back and start a beef with Reigns.
Mentioning that it was a really good question, Heyman then gave quite a long answer. He claimed that Lesnar would have already been in the ring if he had wanted to have a crack at the Universal Championship, Reigns is currently holding.
Heyman told DAZN:
“You’re welcome. The problem that I have with your question is that it’s based on a hypothetical. My father was a far smarter man than I will ever be, which is a testament to my father. My father used to have a saying, ‘If your aunt had balls, she’d be your uncle.’ She doesn’t. So she’s not. If Brock Lesnar were to return, if is a hypothetical. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do. How you can be cognizant of the fact that Brock Lesnar does not want to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal championship, or at least not yet, is because he hasn’t done it. Because if Brock Lesnar wanted to it, it would have happened already. And it hasn’t happened already because he doesn’t want to.” [via DAZN]
Of course, who knows more about Lesnar than Heyman does! Sable, probably?
Paul Heyman speaks about the ever-private Brock Lesnar
Heyman then continued that there might be a number of reasons why Lesnar doesn’t see the need to comeback.
He then divulged how much of a private life ‘The Beast Incarnate’ leads, explaining his love for the tractors and combine harvesters.
Heyman also clarified that Lesnar was a very closed man, and can hardly be spotted by the public eye – no Twitter, no Instagram, just farming and family and vibes.
‘The Special Counsel to the Tribal Chief’ thereby set the record straight saying Lesnar would appear only when he wanted to because “Lesnar does what Lesnar wants to do”.
