Austin Theory was the man behind missing Cleopatra’s egg
The storyline of Monday Night Raw revolved around who stole Vince McMahon‘s prized golden egg and it was found out that Austin Theory was the man who took Cleopatra’s egg. Everyone had their take on the mischief and Adam Perce was not behind.
Director of Live Events Pearce made a bad joke about it on his Twitter account. The former wrestler took to Twitter and wrote:
“I want to personally thank my partner @SonyaDevilleWWE, our investigators, and the incredible WWE Superstars for their steadfast efforts in locating Cleopatra’s Egg for
@VinceMcMahon tonight.
“As far as @austintheory1 being a thief and @SamiZayn a stooge… Omelettin’ it go.”
Austin Theory stole Vince McMahon’s golden egg
The culprit behind the missing Cleopatra golden egg was none other than Austin Theory. Vince kept the Egg on display on his desk in the backstage office since it was first presented to him at the Survivor Series.
McMahon even told Roman Reigns earlier this week that the Egg is priced $100 million and is not some kind of prop. Theory finally admitted that he stole it as he wanted to take a selfie with the egg but got scared of the security in the arena and took it to his hotel room.
Surprisingly McMahon took it in a sporting way and dropped all charges against the wrestler. And above that, he gave Theory the WWE title match against Big E later in the night.
However, Big E defeated Theory to retain the WWE title after the latter was distracted by Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, who were arguing outside the ring.
McMahon had earlier in the RAW told Pearce and Deville that whoever was able to find the man or woman behind the egg’s disappearance would receive a WWE title match against Big E.
So with Austin himself admitting to the crime – Vince surely stood by his words.
