Mookie Betts helped the LA Dodgers win the World Series 2020 and Peyton Royce believed the 28-year-old would do well in WWE

Mookie Betts continued his incredible rise in the MLB by helping the LA Dodgers win the 2020 World Series.

The former Red Sox star joined the LA side in 2020 after helping Boston win a World Series a couple of years back.

Many have slated the Red Sox for trading what is claimed to be a generational talent. Betts became the first player in MLB history to win the MVP, Silver Slugger, Gold Glove, batting title and the World Series in the same year during his time in Boston.

However, he helped the Dodgers get the better of the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2. Betts scored a pair of runs in the game too, and there were a lot of celebrations in the city of Los Angeles.

Many WWE stars such as Peyton Royce and Angelo Dawkins also celebrated the win and the Australian had a great answer to a big question.

During a Fox Sports show, she was asked which Dodger would be a great WWE star. She spent a bit of time thinking before honing in on Betts:

“I am going to go with Mookie Betts. He throws caution to the wind, doesn’t care about his body flying and going for the ball. So, I think he is fearless, agile, quick and I think he would kill it.”

Time for a new team?

Betts certainly has caught the attention of the world with his performances and he is only 28. He has more than a decade of quality baseball left in him, and he could go down as one of the greatest ever when he retires.

However, Royce’s comments also caught the attention of another WWE star. Since she spoke about Betts flying around, Ricochet believed a new tag team could be in the making.

Ricochet had wowed the WWE Universe with a crazy sitting backflip and he knows a thing or two about flying around.
