Mustafa Ali could lead Retribution into the light (WWE)
Mustafa Ali declared himself as the leader of Retribution after a shocking Raw and could have a new look
Mustafa Ali revealing himself as the leader of Retribution was one of the biggest WWE shocks in recent months.
Many believed that T-Bar was the leader of the Raw faction but that was far from the truth. Ali sided with the faction on this week’s show as they attacked the Hurt Business in the main event.
This was a huge turn around for Ali, who had been in the WWE doldrums for a while, and he seems to be embracing his new role.
Ali shared a picture of him and the rest of Retribution and suggested that he was going to change his look a bit.
The high-flyer normally came out with blue lights on his face mask. However, his new look suggested a change in the colour of the lights but the lights on his palm remain a blue/whitish hue.
This reveal on Raw will remain one of the biggest talking points for a while. However, this is a bit of a redemption story for not only Ali but the other Retribution members too.
WWE have rebounded well after wasting the potential that Retribution had at the start. They wasted the stars with some appearances and interferences that didn’t make sense.
This one hit the ball out of the park, and it will be interesting to see what is next for them. Ali has promised destruction in WWE and he might wear a new mask next week.
The draft also poses a problem for Retribution and hopefully, doesn’t split them up. Retribution should be able to move from brand to brand and continue attacking the roster rather than being confirmed to just one brand or being split up.
