Sheamus sent out a warning to Jeff Hardy ahead of WWE Backlash
WWE Superstar Sheamus has sent out a warning to fellow wrestler Jeff Hardy ahead of their bout at the upcoming pay-per-view event, Backlash.
Sheamus and Hardy have been involved in a feud on SmackDown after someone with red hair and a red beard framed the latter for hitting Elias with his car while intoxicated. This had led to the Charismatic Enigma getting ‘arrested’.
The incident happened a week after Hardy defeated the Celtic Warrior in the Intercontinental Championship tournament.
Following his release, Hardy confronted Sheamus for his actions on last week’s episode of SmackDown. It did not end well for him though, as the Celtic Warrior handed out a beating, setting up a match at Backlash.
With just a few days left for the Backlash PPV, Sheamus took to social media to send out a warning to his rival. Posting a picture in which he looked ripped, the Celtic Warrior wrote: “I Must Break You.”
Sheamus has looked impressive since making his return from an injury layoff. Hardy, too, is on the comeback trail following his substance abuse issues, something which WWE are controversially drawing upon for this storyline.
The two are set to come face to face on SmackDown later today for a supposed contract signing segment. Expect it turn into another brawl as WWE builds up for a battle at the Backlash PPV.
