Shad Gaspard had passed away earlier in the year but Shelton Benjamin had the former Cryme Tyme member on his mind at TLC 2020

The Hurt Business got another crack at the Raw Tag Team titles at TLC 2020. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander teamed up to face the champions, the New Day at the PPV.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were the SmackDown champions but had to swap titles with The Street Profits after they were traded.

The New Day are one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history but they couldn’t retain the gold. Alexander was able to hit the Lumbar check on Kingston to steal a win from Benjamin, but it was still a great night for the Business.

MVP celebrated along with the rest of the team while Bobby Lashley is the current United States Champion.

This was Benjamin’s third reign as a WWE Tag champion as he held the title twice with Charlie Haas in the past.

However, this was also an emotional moment for Benjamin as he paid a special tribute to Shad Gaspard thanks to his ring gear.

Gaspard lives on in memory

Gaspard was part of the Cryme Tyme tag team in WWE. He was loved by many of the WWE stars even after he left the company but tragedy struck early in 2020.

Gaspard and a few others were swimming in a Venice Beach when a wave swept many of them away. Lifeguards were quick to reach Gaspard but he wanted them to save his son. They were able to do that but Gaspard passed away and his body was found a few days later.
