Lee was the North American champion coming into the clash against Adam Cole. Cole, for his part, held the NXT title and was the longest-reigning champion too.

This was a winner take all battle and it was Lee who just got the win over Cole. WWE celebrated this wildly as streamers and confetti hit Full Sail and Lee reached the summit of this promotion.

Loads of celebrations all around

While many NXT and WWE stars wished Lee on his success, the best celebrations come with the ones who you are closest too.

Lee and Yim have been in a relationship for a while and the WWE couple were pictured together celebrating.

Yim was also in action at the Great American Bash but she lost to Candice LeRae. However, even after a tough street fight, she was more than happy to celebrate with her partner.

Dijakovic is one of Lee’s closest friends in WWE, and he was one of the first to congratulate him on social media.

He was also pictured with Lee, and the pair seemed to be ecstatic over what took place. Lee’s win does highlight how much belief WWE have on him. His push started around Survivor Series and the Limitless One has not looked back.

Lee has defeated everyone he has faced since winning the North American title. Now, he has two belts and it will be interesting to see how he deals with this.
