WWE star Sheamus is a huge Liverpool fan and celebrated the Reds’ first Premier League title

Liverpool finally broke their Premier League jinx by clinching their first title last night. Although the Reds didn’t play, Manchester City’s inability to defeat Chelsea handed the title to the Merseyside giants.

This has been a title long overdue as the Reds recorded their 19th crown. They were stuck on 18 for 30 years and had never won the Premier League after the English first division was rebranded.

Liverpool had come close in the past under various managers such as Rafael Benitez and Brendan Rodgers.

However, Jurgen Klopp built this team over four years and finally landed the elusive Premier League title for Liverpool.

The German also helped the Reds win their sixth Champions League title last year while they just missed out on the domestic league by a single point.

Liverpool broke many records along the way but most fans won’t care about all this. Many of the Liverpool fans have had to go through a lot of pain over near misses, something that Sheamus refereed to in an update.

The Irishman is a huge Liverpool supporter and has visited their stadium, Anfield, many times. He also is awake at crazy hours to follow their games.

Sheamus shared a couple of images, one from the last time they won the league, and how it has taken 30 years to get back on top.

The Irishman even teased he was going to bring his old haircut back to celebrate the win.

Liverpool have a lot of celebrating to do after their triumph while Sheamus is in a rivalry with Jeff Hardy.

While the Irishman has Hardy in his sights, he should still have time to celebrate Liverpool’s great achievement.

The Reds are certainly on top of the world now, and under Klopp, they could win more titles.
