WWE plans for the “greatest all-time” push for the Universal Champion
Roman Reigns has been on his best run ever in WWE. Since his return after the leukemia incident almost two years back, he has not taken a step back in his career.
The WWE Universal Champion has been in excellent form and has dominated his opponents in the past year. Now the company is looking to take a monumental push for Roman Reigns.
According to WrestlingNews.co (h/t Wrestle Talk)WWE wants to take a step further and doesn’t just want Reigns to be the top star on the current roster. In short, WWE is looking to build Reigns as the “greatest of all time.”
The Bull Dog has not lost a single match this year, and there is no sign of giving up yet. He has become the biggest star in WWE and has broken the merchandise sale record.
The process of moving towards this goal of making him the greatest began last Friday on SmackDown when Reigns called himself the “greatest of all time” during the opening of the show.
The plan also includes Reigns breaking the longest Universal Championship reign record, which is currently held by the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.
Reigns has his championship reign standing at 420 days, while Lesnar’s record stands at 503 days which was broken in August 2018.
The Beast has been suspended for an indefinite amount of time from SmackDown after he attacked WWE staff and other members last Friday on the show.
