WWE RAW Superstar R-Truth not a fan of new AEW signing CM Punk
WWE Superstar R-Truth has taken a jibe at former WWE Champion CM Punk via his TikTok account.
CM Punk has awoken the wrestling world with his debut on last week’s Rampage. The entire wrestling world – fans and wrestlers alike have been processing the news of his return to wrestling after 7 years.
WWE Superstar R-Truth recently commented on TikTok where CM Punk explains his 2014 WWE exit. The clip was taken from an interview with Colt Cabana, which came several months after his exit.
R-Truth said: (h/t Wrestling Inc)
“CM Punk you lost to me and Miz cause we were HOTTER than you sorry, and I neva thought you were impressive at all, just typical entitlement.”
Punk lost to R-Truth & The Miz in a tag team match at WWE Vengeance 2011. Since his bitter end from WWE, Punk took a break from wrestling and switched to MMA. He had two fights, losing both but one of the decisions was reversed after a drug test.
He now returns to AEW with a different purpose and hopes to stay longer with the newfound company. Punk is here to stay and is not done with the chapter of professional wrestling just yet.
R-Truth’s WWE career
He debuted as K-Kwik during The Attitude Era. After changing his name to R-Truth, he developed a gimmick which gave him a chance to face John Cena for the WWE Championship. He is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with Kofi Kingston and a United States Champion.
Truth’s record-breaking reign with the 24/7 Championship made him a fan favourite in WWE. He has faced championship matches on airplane, hotel room, at San Diego Comic-Con and even a wedding. Truth is not done yet as he is still a mainstay on RAW and continues to vow the WWE Universe with his entertainment.
