Randy Orton is on an amazing streak when it comes to winning tag team matches as he forms RKBro with Matt Riddle
There are a lot of records and streaks that WWE superstar Randy Orton currently holds, but one you probably didn’t know before today was his streak of tag team wins.
According to @WWEStats on Twitter, Orton is yet to lose in a 2v2 tag team match in the past 5 and a half years on the show.
That is a ridiculous streak considering the amount of tag team action Orton sees. And he is no stranger to winning tag team titles too.
More than a decade back, he and Edge formed Rated-RKO to go on and win the WWE tag team championship.
And later on, he teamed up with Bray Wyatt to win the SmackDown tag team title. Now, he has a new tag team partner in Matt Riddle.
Randy Orton and Matt Riddle collaborate to make RKBro on WWE
This is perhaps one of the strangest things to have happened on WWE, at least in the last 1 month. Out of nowhere, Orton and Riddle competed in a singles match where ‘The Super King of Bros’ won.
And as per the agreed-upon terms, both of them formed a tag team, ‘RKBro’. Their debut came this week on RAW as they took on Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.
Orton and Riddle seemed to have great chemistry inside the ring together and scored an expected win over Benjamin and Alexander, who seem to have dropped down the card since their split from The Hurt Business.
And what’s even more surprising is that it was Orton’s idea to work with Riddle. If RKBro continues to win, they can even make a charge for the RAW tag team championship.
That title is currently held by AJ Style and Omos but could soon change hands.
