WWE Raw Superstar Randy Orton was missing from last week’s show due to ‘personal reasons’

WWE Superstar and legend Randy Orton was visibly missing on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw alongside Matt Riddle.

It was revealed that Orton would face Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles for another chance to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. His place was taken by his teammate Matt Riddle, who won a Battle Royal earlier that night.

But, now there are reports emerging that his absence from RAW was because of ‘personal reasons.’ Billi Bhatti speaks on the Nitty Gritty Dirt Show on RussosBrand.com, saying that he was asking for a week off and will return soon.

Orton’s absence was strange considering his increasingly interesting storyline with Matt Riddle as a tag team. Riddle, meanwhile, was unsuccessful in the Triple Threat Match as he was beaten by Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre now joins Ricochet, John Morrison, Riddle,Big E and Kevin Owens in the Money in the Bank ladder match on July 18.

Orton will look to regroup and return on this week’s edition as the RK-Bro rack in impressive wins leading towards a potential clash for the belts.

Will the RK-Bro win the elusive gold?

Orton and Riddle have become a fan favourite after the formation of the RK-Bro. The two personalities, though contrasting compliment each other very well. The WWE Universe has seen their chemistry as they have traded finishing moves. Riddle, even apologised on Twitter after his failure to win the qualifying match.

AJ Styles and Omos are the current WWE Raw Tag Team Champions and are sure to have seen the threat of the new combination. The duo have won against other tag teams in the division putting the champs on notice.

Will Randy Orton win his first tag team title since 2016, when he won with the Wyatt Family and continue his legacy as one of the greats in WWE?
