Matt Riddle had a hilarious botch with Asuka on RAW and Randy Orton seems to love it
A few weeks back, Matt Riddle and Asuka combined to give us one of the best WWE botches in recent memory.
Back in late March, 2021, Riddle’s character was that of a chilled out dude who was trying to sell bizarre business ideas to superstars backstage.
In one such segment, he was supposed to interact with Asuka as he rode in on his scooter. The two started the conversation off pretty well in all honesty.
But suddenly, ‘The Super King of Bros’ said that he had forgotten his lines and rode away on his scooter, leaving the then WWE RAW women’s champion looking all confused.
Riddle’s character has had a lot more purpose in the pas few weeks after he teamed up with Randy Orton to form RKBro.
Randy Orton found Matt Riddle and Asuka’s botch hilarious
The two are 3-0 in tag team matches after this week’s RAW episode and Orton was discussing about his new tag team partner with Kurt Angle on his podcast.
He revealed how that botch from Riddle was one of the best things he had seen in his entire life.
“I was there when a couple of weeks ago when he forgot his verbiage live on RAW and scooted off. Everyone was like ‘Oh, it’s brilliant!’ or ‘Oh, he forgot his words’ – that was some of the best s*** I’ve ever seen.”
Orton and Riddle have come together to make one of the most likeable teams on the RAW roster right now.
They seem unstoppable together and it is evident that their run would lead up to a match with AJ Styles and Omos for the RAW tag team championship.
