Randy Orton set to break WWE PPV record at Survivor Series
WWE superstar Randy Orton is set to break another WWE record. The wrestler is just days away from holding the record for working the most matches at WWE PPV events in history.
Orton is scheduled to team with Riddle of RK-Bro to take on SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series 2021 pay-per-view, which will mark his 177th PPV match in his WWE career, which will put him first all-time.
Currently, he is tied with Kane with 176 WWE PPV appearances. Legendary wrestler The Undertaker is behind Orton and Kane with 174 WWE pay-per-view bouts while Triple H has worked 173 matches.
According to ProfightDB, a fan on Twitter reminded that this match will be Orton’s 177th on WWE pay-per-view.
Orton is one of the most accomplished superstars in the history of WWE. In a career spanning over 20 years now, he has been at the top of the WWE throughout. His first PPV match was at SummerSlam 2003 where he competed in the Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Orton also known as ‘The Viper’ is a 14-time world champion in WWE and has also won several tag team titles and other singles titles. He is also a 2-time Royal Rumble winner and a former Mr. Money in the Bank.
He along with Riddle are tag team partners and one of the favourites of the fans. Their alliance started earlier this year and the duo have dominated the ring since then.
