The clash at the PPV is a pure wrestling match and has been touted as the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match’ ever.

Orton highlighted how much it meant to him that Edge was keen on facing the Viper:

“Knowing that I was his top pick, to come back to the ring after almost 10 years with all the injuries he has had, including the neck surgery, that right there is probably the greatest compliment I can get in this business, in this line of work.”

Orton added that some of the young kids didn’t know how hard they threw punches, and even he had injuries in the past.

“Knowing Edge considered me to be the safest guy he could work with and also have a story with we that we capitalise on that really made me feel very honoured, that Edge wanted to work with me first to kind of see and feel things out after 10 years.”
